Agent Blue took the four track ethos of home recording which had taken off so violently in the dance scene and applied it to guitar music. Many of the songs started out on a tape machine before being transferred to Matthew Herbert's studio. Highlights include 'In time falls' (included on Accidental's 'You are here' compilation) and 'Romance' where a 303 pairs up with an acoustic guitar. Agent Blue also collaborated with Herbert in the band Sweet Peace Three and more recently on Transformer's 'Idle Pop' (on Doctor Rockit's 'Veselka's Diner' single). His brother, classical composer Ian Vine, is also included on Accidental's 'You Are Here' compilation. This Agent Blue isn't from Stoke-on-Trent.
